FIRE SAFETY SMOKE HOUSE TRAILER

Pickens County has a two story smoke house trailer used at local schools and at special events & festivals in the county to train children and adults what to do if they find that the house they are in is on fire.

Several fund raisers were held including an annual golf tournament to buy the trailer. The School District of Pickens County provided money to cover a major portion of the initial cost of the smoke house.
